I need find a diagram with all the tractor coupling system parts?
Posted by admin as trailer parts
I am taking my CDL test and I need it to pass the written part of my test. I am just pulling a gooseneck trailer. I will never see any of these parts and I can not pass the pretrip inspection with out knowing what the parts are so I can learn what to inspect on each one.
I’m sure that your state has a .gov or .org websight with the DOT driver manual on it, check it out.

Can people ever get the electric car?
Posted by admin as car trailers
Electric cars should definitely be produced. It’s not a technological problem; there IS no problem! The range easily exceeds sixty miles per charge and can be greatly improved. I saw a documentary on TV that convinced me that electric vehicles are feasible and low-polluting (actually zero-polluting, but emissions are produced by the generation of power). I’m far from a conspiracy theorist, but it’s clear to me that electric vehicle production is blocked by car companies and oil companies in favor of what they view as maximum profit. And it’s a shame.
They’re not really all that expensive, and the price would go way down if they were mass produced, but car companies resist.
See http://www.evuk.co.uk/
Watch the “Who Killed the Electric Car” trailer at: http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony/whokilledtheelectriccar/trailer
Or go here: http://www.pbs.org/now/shows/223/index.html#here and be sure to click on “Watch the Video”.
It wasn’t a conspiracy that killed the electric car, it was corporate politics. A huge company like GM naturally resists change when it finds a profitable niche, like GM did with SUVs and pickup trucks. When a large beaurocracratic company is making money hand over fist in something safe and well-understood, it has no incentive to take on a risky project like an electric car. So that’s why car companies resist the idea of mass-producing an electric car. If the price of oil fell back down to $20, they would take massive losses and look like idiots.
Any manager who wanted to build a new Suburban or Tahoe would see the electric car as competing, not for customers, but rather for corporate dollars. We saw the same thing when Saturn got re-assimilated into GM. Managers of non-Saturn divisions got jealous of all the resources that were spent on Saturn and they literally pushed the company out into the cold. It has taken until recently for the division to recover.
So what is to be done? Well, don’t look to major car companies to change the paragigm. It’s not that they love oil, rather they are scared of failure. Instead, look to a small, agile company like Tesla Motors in Silicon Valley. They have produced a high-end electric sports car that, while expensive, competes with Porche on both performance and price. It goes 250 miles on a charge, accelerates from 0-60 in around 4 seconds and costs $100,000.
Why did they go high-end first? To start making money in a niche. A startup can’t attack the whole market, they’ll get killed by the incumbents. Instead they need a niche. And guess what? It worked. The first production run sold out before a single car rolled off the production line. The only question that remains is what about those of us who can’t afford a $100,000 sports car? Tesla plans to follow up with a $50-$60,000 sports sedan and a $20-$30,000 family car.

Powered Trailer Mover for pulling heavy equipment and cargo trailers
Posted by admin as equipment trailers
The TrailerCaddy powered trailer mover is an electric puller designed to push and pull trailers that require lifting on one end before maneuvering. The mover can also manipulate RV’s, boats, and campers in addition to equipment trailers.
DJ Products’ powered trailer mover is more maneuverable than other similar products. Because it is less bulky, the powered mover is also more capable of moving smoothly in tight areas.
For more information about the powered trailer mover, please visit http://www.djproducts.com/products/trailer-mover.html or call us at 1-800-686-2651.

Fast & Furious 4 Trailer 1

MORE FAST & FURIOUS 4 @ INSIDELINE.COM:

Trailer Courtesy of Universal
Almost six months before filming was set to begin on Fast and Furious, the movie’s picture car coordinator Dennis McCarthy was already running out of space to hold all the cars, trucks, semis and trailers being built for the production. This was way back in October 2007 and it was McCarthy’s job to bring together every vehicle that would be seen on-screen in the fourth in The Fast and the Furious series. Sound easy? It wasn’t; there were going to be more than 200 of them.
“Reading the script, it was obvious this was going to be bigger than Tokyo Drift,” said McCarthy, who had the same job on that third Fast/Furious film. “And a lot more of them were going to be ’specialty cars’ that we’d have to build ourselves.”
So despite having more than 60,000 square feet of shop space to work in, Dennis McCarthy was already running out of room.

$100K in stolen equipment guess who is involved ?
Posted by admin as equipment trailers
St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s deputies recovered more than $100,000 worth of stolen construction equipment and arrested seven men connected to the case. St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s deputies recovered more than $100,000 worth of stolen construction equipment and arrested seven men connected to the case. According to Captain George Bonnett, a sheriff’s office spokesman, the arrests were made last Thursday. Investigators received information from the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office about a case they were working which led them to the Northshore. Detectives obtained a search warrant for a home in the 59000 block of Carroll Road.
Police found seven men in the home, arrested and charged them with possession of stolen property, Bonnett said. Hundreds of counts are expected to be filed against the suspects.
Bonnett said most of the equipment had been stolen from trailers on construction sites.
Police said the following men were arrested: Juventino Trejo, 43; Gustavo Lucio, 37; Isidro Mendoza, 32; Juan A. Lopez, 23; Jose Lopez, 21; Alberto Lopez, 19, and Juan M. Lopez, 17.
Trejo and Lucio were the only suspects in the country legally, Bonnett said. The remaining five men have immigration holds pending the outcome of a trial.
The sheriff’s office said the arrests have cleared 12 burglary cases thus far and more are expected to be cleared.

They’re just committing the burglaries that American Burglars are too lazy to do.
/end sarcasm
Posters above seem to forget that if these people weren’t here illegally to begin with that these burglaries wouldn’t have been commited against AMERICANS. Let them stay and commit burglaries in their own countries.

Stop-Loss (the movie) some parts from the trailer weren’t in the film…( there might be some spoilers!!)?
Posted by admin as trailer parts
Okay, so I’ve just finished watching Stop-Loss the film. I was very disappointed by the end of the film, due to the lack of romance. I thought that there would be some romance in the film because when I watched the trailer there were a couple scenes where Brandon and Michelle were about to kiss and a scene where they were on the beach. But after I finished the movie I realized that those scenes were not in the movie! Then again, I did watch the movie online, I didn’t watch it in the theatres…So, maybe the movie online had some scenes taken out? And maybe some of those scenes will be on the DVD, when it comes out on July 8? Anyway, if you have any explanation for these deleted scenes please let me know

This happens very often. The trailers are made well before final production of a movie, so they do so without knowing what may get cut.
Scenes are cut out for many different reasons. The don’t move the story along; they don’t have the right mood for that part of the film; they’re just too long; whatever. For some reason, the director decided those scenes didn’t need to be there, so they were cut. They will undoubtedly be included on the DVD release.

Why can’t I upload movie trailers from the Apple website into my iPod video?
Posted by admin as box trailers
Since I reformatted my PC and downloaded the latest iTunes, I can no longer upload movie trailers from the Apple website into my iPod video. When I click on the iPod link, a dialog box opens and asks me if I would like to open the file. When I click "Open" the Notepad file "browserRedirect[1]" is the one being opened and nothing happens. I suspect the website is trying to subscribe me to the movie’s podcast, which was what was happening before I reformatted my PC and downloaded the new iTunes.
Do I need to change some settings in my PC or does the new iTunes have a bug which Apple needs to fix?
I suspect I know what is happening, however not sure I know exactly how you are attempting to download the movie trailers. Let me make an assumption and go from there, you can always resubmit with more details if I’m wrong.
Step 1) You visit iTunes.com (the Web page)
Step 2) You find the Web page with the movie trailers and click on a link to download them into your iPod
Step 3) At this point, the Web link should start up your iTunes 7 software however instead a dialog box with "Open" pops up
Step 4) The "Open" brings up MS Notepad
If this is the case, then your File Type settings for iTunes are probably not correct. If you go into Windows Explorer, then click on TOOLS—->FOLDER OPTIONS—–>then select the File Types tab. A list of file types will appear shortly. The settings you need to check are as follows:
Extension……….File Type……………………………Opens with . . . .
————-………..————……………………………—————-
ITMS………….iTunes Music Store URL………..iTunes
ITL…………….iTunes Music Database file……iTunes
ITPC…………Podcast Subscription File……….iTunes
PCAST……..Podcast Subscription File……….iTunes
If not, then reinstall iTunes 7, but be sure you have admin level rights for the install process.
Anytime you click on a Web link (or file in Windows Explorer) and it brings up a different software/process than you expected it is almost always related to the File Type settings under Folder Options in MS Windows. These instructions are for Windows XP, so if you have something else look for a similar type problem and fix. You can control what program/software opens by changing the File Types manually within Folder Options in File Explorer.
